Why Complete an NPQ?

At Inspiration Teaching School Hub, we’re proud to work with Best Practice Network (BPN) and the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) to bring high‑quality National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) to teachers and leaders across our region. These nationally recognised programmes provide an opportunity for teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers to deepen their expertise, strengthen their leadership skills and improve outcomes for pupils. Here's why an NPQ could be right for you. 

Applying your learning

NPQs draw on the latest research into what really works in education but they’re also packed with practical strategies that you can apply straight away. Our course is structured to take you from theory to practical application and embed your learning into your practice.

Networking opportunities

NPQs bring together local educators from different schools, phases and contexts. The chance to swap ideas and share challenges is often one of the most valuable parts of the experience for our participants.

Flexible delivery

Training with us means you’ll benefit from flexible, blended learning via self-directed study and impactful in‑person training events. Many NPQs are still fully funded via DfE scholarships for eligible schools, making them accessible to more settings that need effective leadership.

Long-term impact

One‑off courses can be inspiring in the moment but we know that real change happens over time. NPQs combine online study, practical tasks, coaching and face‑to‑face events over 12-18 months so you can try things out, reflect and improve as you go.
