National Professional Qualifications

National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) are nationally recognised professional development programmes, accredited by the Department for Education (DfE).

The DfE are now offering all NPQ programmes fully-funded for all teachers and leaders employed in state funded schools and organisations offering 16-19 education.

Please see the funding section of the DfE website for all details and eligibility criteria. Read more about the programmes from the DfE here.

Applications are now open for our next cohort and you can apply here.

The programmes;

  • last between 12-18 months
  • are delivered through a combination of online and face-to-face sessions, and online self-study.
  • are either focused on a specialist area of teaching or a type of leadership.

Inspiration Trust are proud to be an Associate College of the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT), which means we are delivering our NPQs in partnership with England’s flagship teacher development provider.
